Mother's Day Lunch in Ely
Searching for ideas for Mother’s Day gifts or activities? Join us at The Old Hall Ely for a special Mother’s Day Lunch.
The history behind Mother’s Day is interesting, many of us have wondered why do we celebrate Mother’s Day? Back in 1907, Anna Jarvis actually founded this special day due to her mother’s involvement in Women’s groups to promote friendship and health. In 1907, she held a memorial service for her mother and this important day of appreciation began!
At The Old Hall Ely, many of the inspiring Women are Mothers and as we are a family business, we value this day greatly.
As this day is such a special one, it is difficult to find the perfect gift. Rather than opting for flowers, why not elevate your gift with a lovely experience for the most important Women in your life?
Visit The Old Hall Ely for our stunning Sunday Lunch and have a special afternoon. Enjoy overlooking Ely Cathedral and our grounds, whilst enjoying a delicious, traditional Sunday Roast.
