The Morbey family have owned The Old Hall since the 1830’s with each generation adding their own unique character to the property. Alison, lovingly known as Mrs M by the team here, remains head of the house and manages all development projects, and the fantastic interior design and landscape design of the house& grounds. Antonia is responsible for all day to day runnings and operations, and caringly looks after our whole team. Fuelled by passion, Antonia is very hands on and creates a happy and loving atmosphere for both guests and the team alike.
Laura puts guest experiences at the centre of all we do here and makes sure that all of our team live and breathe the same sentiment. Laura understands the importance of every event we hold here, and this drives her to ensure each occasion, from Weddings to Sunday lunches, is an experience not to be missed.
Having joined in 2015, Billy creates and develops all of our menus and cooks delicious dishes for our fine dining evenings alongside our weddings and events. Using local and seasonal produce, Billy ensures each event has the personal touch and his precision and attention to detail is evident in his presentation.
Amy heads up our ever growing events team, training them to the highest standards and ensuring every event here runs like clockwork. She shows incredible passion for each and every event we host, and creates our fantastic calendar of in-house events, showing great creativity - there's nothing she can't do!
Amanda is one of our most versatile Event Managers, having worked across multiple sectors in her career. Amanda shows incredible care and dedication, and coupled with her vibrant personality and passion for all things events, she is an absolute asset to our team.
Kirsty is a long-standing, and key member of our team. She arrives every day with a fantastic attitude and plays a vital role in supporting our guests throughout their events and occasions. Her breadth of knowledge of the business and passion for weddings always gives her a great advantage when planning events for all occasions.
If you're getting married here with us, Tammy knows all the in's and out's of The Old Hall Ely, having been here since 2015. She is often heavily involved in all of our weddings as a massive support to the couple and key member of the Events Team on the day.
Becca is the first person almost all of our customers will meet or speak to at The Old Hall Ely. Her knowledge is second to none, and coupled with her incredible, positive attitude, she always endeavours to help all of our wedding couples and guests to her best ability.
As Marketing Manager at The Old Hall Ely, Lauren leads our marketing and communications. Putting her knowledge of marketing to good use, Lauren creates campaigns and brings them to life with the help of her Marketing Executive, Emily. Her role is varied, from creating content to analysing stats, Lauren’s day at work is always exciting and inspiring.
Having worked with us for some years in a front of house position, Emily always arrived with a positive attitude and eager to learn more, leading to her promotion to Marketing Executive. Emily is our creative powerhouse, designing everything from menus to social media content. She is passionate about art and design and showcases it though many outlets here at The Old Hall Ely.
Amelia has an extremely varied role here; creating corporate events. Amelia shows the highest of standards of The Old Hall Ely throughout the corporate world and showcases how amazing the team can accommodate the best of events.
Tracey is a fantastic asset to our team, managing all company accounts and payment processes. She has a keen eye for detail, and her lateral thinking skills are second to none. Ensuring seamless accounts and helping our wedding couples along their journey, Tracey has quite the varied role.
Nick has been with us since 2019 and is a valued member of the team. You’ll receive your invoices from Nick and may speak to him if you ever have a query or need any clarity. He’s incredibly efficient at processing and making sure our event payment schedules remain on track.
Gill joined the team in 2016 and has a very varied role. Supporting the team with venue operations and office co-ordination, and sends all the Contracts to our couples. Gill also married with us in 2013, giving her a real advantage when she is asked for her advice from couples about their wedding plans.
Rasa is in charge of maintaining our high standards of cleanliness throughout the house. She busily manages a team of ten housekeepers with the help of supervisors Annie and Saida. As you’ll notice when you visit we have many antiques, and Rasa makes sure they all get the attention they deserve to continue to look their finest.
Adrian is a very well loved member of the family here. He is always cheerful and really enjoys working here. He looks after our grounds, something we all take great pride in. From implementing sustainable practices, to creating the most scenic topiary gardens, Adrian can do it all.
