At The Old Hall Ely, we are known for our fine dining experiences, including our delicious Sunday Lunch. Join us in The Orangery and end your weekend the best way, indulging in delicious food whilst taking in breath-taking views.
Our Chefs have curated an excellent Sunday Lunch menu including delicious starters, mains and desserts.
Starting off, make the difficult choice between smoked haddock fishcake, watercress and chive velouté, poached hen’s egg and dill oil or black pudding and potato terrine, Montgomery mille-feuille and French onion velouté. We also have more stunning starters to choose from, such as soup of the day, chicken liver parfait, grilled mackerel and roasted butternut squash salad.
Moving on to main courses, our chefs have perfected a unique twist on classic Sunday Roast dishes.
On our menu, we have Roast Sirloin 30 day aged of Hereford Beef with Yorkshire pudding, Roast Blythbourgh Leg of Pork, free range Roast Chicken, Parsnip and Cranberry Nut Roast and Baked Fillet of Plaice.
All of our delicious roasts are served with Duck fat potatoes, seasonal vegetables, baked cheesy leeks and gravy.
For puddings, treat yourself to a sweet treat at the end of your dining experience. We have a variety of stunning desserts, starting off with our Chocolate, Almond and Brioche pudding with Crème Anglaise or Apple Tart Tatin and blackberry ice cream.
Looking for a classic dessert option with a twist? Go for our Kirsch soaked chocolate sponge, sugar poached cherries and vanilla cream or our steamed treacle sponge with cinnamon biscuit ice cream.
